The Santa Cop & Heroes' mission is to support the emotional well-being by providing gifts and companionship to Mat-Su Valley seniors who will be alone on Christmas.

The program has been running since 2007 and serves over 100 seniors every year.
This is not a needs-based program; the only requirement is that the senior will be alone on Christmas. In addition, the program aims to create a positive bond between seniors and the Palmer Police Department, Wasilla Police Department, Alaska State Troopers, Palmer Fire Department, Anchorage Police Department, Mat-Su Emergency Services (Fire & EMS), our local military and their families, and in-home care providers, as well as civilian members of the local community. |
